We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and efficient Barista to join our team within a fast-paced 24-hour healthcare centre environment. This location serves patients, visitors, and healthcare staff around the clock, requiring flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer care. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with consistency and quality
Provide courteous, respectful service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
Operate POS systems (Micros POS or similar) to process orders accurately
Handle cash and electronic transactions responsibly
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace in accordance with healthcare standards
Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols
Assist customers with menu selections and product inquiries
Restock supplies and maintain smooth operations across all shifts
Work effectively in a 24-hour environment, including overnight shifts
Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all guests
Qualifications
Previous barista or food service experience preferred
Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays)
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Experience with POS systems (Micros POS is an asset)
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Strong multitasking and time management abilities
Excellent communication skills and teamwork
