Bubble Tea Barista – Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Bubble Tea Barista to join our energetic and customer-focused team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for customer service, and take pride in preparing high-quality drinks. Prior experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided. This is a paid position suited to individuals who enjoy working with people and delivering a fun, welcoming experience to every customer.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea drinks, including milk teas, fruit teas, and specialty beverages, following company recipes and quality standards
Cook and prepare toppings such as tapioca pearls and jellies, ensuring freshness and consistency
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately, recommending menu options, and responding to customer questions
Operate the cash register and handle payments efficiently using basic maths skills
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety, including proper storage, handling, and cleanliness of ingredients
Keep the workstation clean and organised, including regular sanitisation of equipment and surfaces
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a bubble tea shop, café, or customer service role is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is an advantage
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Strong time management and organisational skills
Friendly, positive attitude with strong communication skills
Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately
