Step into the world of exquisite cocktails and panoramic views at Blu Bar, perched high on the 36th floor of the iconic Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney. With breathtaking vistas of Darling Harbour, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the Opera House, Blu Bar offers an exclusive experience unlike any other.
Shangri-La Sydney is looking for skilled and experienced Bartender to join the Blu Bar team on Level 36 of Shangri-La Sydney!
As a bartender you will:
Have a passion for creating finely crafted cocktails and keeping up to date with the latest mixology trends.
Efficiently maintain high standards of service while operating in a fun environment
You must have a passion to always deliver on our promise to do good and create colorful moments of joy
Driven to reach goals whilst be rewarded with generous gratuities
Be systems savvy
Conducts both internal and external cocktail classes when requested by Bar Manager or Supervisor
Be knowledgeable of the hotel liquor licensing guidelines and handle RSA issues that may arise on shift and be supported in your decisions.
Any other duties as requested by the Service manager, Supervisor or Director of Food & Beverage.
About You
Experience in Hotel or Bar environments
Excellent communication skills in reading and writing English
Knowledge in cocktails recipes, food & beverage and RSA
Understanding of workplace practices in Work Health and Safety
Responsible Service of ******* Certificate
