About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service and warm, engaging customer experiences within our 5‑star, premium built facilities. This role is ideal for a confident and respectful individual who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, takes pride in quality, presentation and product knowledge, and remains calm under pressure. You will play an important part in creating a welcoming and familiar atmosphere for residents, family, friends and staff, while delivering consistently high standards of service within our restaurant and bar facilities. If you’re passionate about cocktails, wine and spirits, enjoy building rapport, and take pride in creating memorable moments at the bar, this could be the perfect role for you.
This role requires the successful applicant to be available Monday to Friday between 11am and 9pm.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, spirits and non‑alcoholic drinks, to a consistently high standard
Deliver exceptional customer service with a warm, professional and respectful approach
Maintain strong knowledge of beverage offerings and confidently make recommendations
Operate bar equipment and POS systems accurately and efficiently
Manage multiple tasks during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
Remain calm, organised and professional when working under pressure
Support and assist with training and mentoring team members as required
Ensure bar areas are clean, well‑presented and compliant with food safety and RSA standards
Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications/Certificates/Professional Experience
Experience and the willingness to excel in the hospitality industry.
Ability to provide exceptional food and beverage service.
Excellent customer service skills and proficiency to work as part of a high performing team.
Courteous and pleasant attitude towards residents, guests and colleagues.
Confidence to work proactively and autonomously.
Responsible Service of ******* (RSA) Certificate (or the willingness to obtain one).
(Desirable) Food Safety Certificate
(Desirable) Completion of accredited Barista Course
