Description

Summary: Mixes and serves beverages for customers according to established guest service standards.

Essential Job Functions:

Greets guests immediately.

Takes drink and/or food orders from customers or beverage servers.

Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for ******* possession/consumption

Monitors guest ******* consumption and acts according to established ******* awareness program guidelines.

Collects payment and follows cash handling procedures.

Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.

Washes glasses.

Maintains clean and sanitary bar area.

Resolves guest complaints.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Three or more years of related experience preferred.

Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.

Knowledge of beverage order processing systems.

Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands:

Regularly required to see, talk or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.

Frequently required to walk; stoop, kneel or crouch.

Ability to count.

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.

Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment
