QpiVolta Technologies is looking for Laboratory Technicians who are passionate
about developing next-generation metal anode-solid electrolyte batteries. We have
set up a state-of-the-art 5,000 sq ft industrial R&D centre in Bengaluru, India. Join

We are looking for a Battery Cell Lab Technician to perform electrode
manufacturing, battery cell assembly, equipment maintenance and battery cell
testing.
Responsibilities:
Execute procedures in the laboratory with minimal supervision.
Perform defined experiments based on SOPs.
Perform a variety of facilities tasks including handling shipments, minor
repairs, and maintenance.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Receive and check-in chemicals in our inventory system.
Conduct chemical inventories throughout the lab.
Participate in safety duties including conducting inspections, safe work
practices, and helping other staff to work safely.
Weigh out chemicals and operate battery slurry mixing and coating
equipment.
Prepare electrodes and cell components for coin and pouch cell fabrication.
Support R&D operations for cell making and testing.
Assist engineers in developing methods and procedures.
Perform experiments, quality control, and process development related to
electrode coating, cell assembly and cell testing.
Qualifications:
A Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
4 years of Experience working in laboratory or industrial environments.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Ability to work in .
Ability to lift, squat, kneel, use step ladders, manipulate hand, and power
tools.
Basic computer skills including using email, creating, and editing
spreadsheets and documents in G-Suite and MS Office.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with chemical processing and characterization in a lab
environment.
Battery electrode and cell making, and related experience is preferred.
Experience battery cycling using testers including Neware and Arbin is a plus
