Battery World is the leading battery retailer in Australia. We supply and fit a range of batteries such as car keys, mobiles, cars and trucks. Battery World offers 24 hour roadside service which includes battery changing on cars and trucks.
About the role:
We are seeking a part time Battery Technician / Customer Service focused person to work weekends mostly and possibly a weekday. Flexibility with days and hours for the right candidate (estimated 12 to 16 hours per week).
As a Sales Assistant you will help our customers to select the right battery for their needs and assist with fitment.
The successful candidate will have:
An understanding that great customer service is essential to being successful
The capability to complete daily tasks including battery fitting, off-site duties, stock replenishment, merchandising and product training.
A basic understanding of computers (able to use web browsers)
Drivers license
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills
Previous experience working in the auto electrical field will be looked upon favorably but is not essential. Full training will be provided including road side services.
