Job Description
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) in our interior design team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering strong client relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, collaborating with the design team to deliver customized solutions, and achieving sales targets.
You will be expected to proactively seek out and develop new business opportunities within the interior design industry. Building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, builders, real estate developers, and corporate clients will be essential to your success in this role. Understanding client requirements and effectively communicating with the design team to deliver tailored solutions will also be a key part of your duties.
In addition, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering proposals, quotations, and project plans to clients, as well as keeping track of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging design opportunities. Representing the company at various events such as exhibitions, networking events, and industry meet-ups will also be part of your role.
To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the interior design, architecture, or real estate industries, is required. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary with performance-based incentives, as well as opportunities for career growth and exposure to high-value interior design projects. A willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is preferred, and fluency in English is also preferred.
