ABOUT:
We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented Business Development executive to join our team in the solar energy and EPC sector.The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in B2B sales and renewable energy solar or infrastructure industries. You should be skilled in generating leads preparing techno commercial proposals conducting site assessments and closing deals with residential commercial and industrial clients
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial solar sectors.
· Generate leads through cold calling, networking, client visits, and digital channels.
· Develop customized proposals and techno-commercial presentations for clients.
· Conduct site assessments in coordination with the engineering team and prepare feasibility reports.
· Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely proposals.
· Negotiate contracts and close sales in line with company pricing and margin strategies.
· Maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
· Stay updated on solar policies, incentives, and industry trends.
· Provide accurate forecasts and sales performance reports to management.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
· 4–6 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar / renewable energy / EPC sector.
· Strong understanding of solar PV systems, net metering, CAPEX/OPEX models, and regulatory approvals.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and basic solar simulation software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope) is an advantage.
· Willingness to travel to customer sites, industrial zones, or project locations.
