Beautician
We are looking for experienced and passionate Beauticians to join our busy beauty salon. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in delivering high-quality beauty service and exceptional customer service in a clean, professional environment.
Hourly Rate: NZD $25 – $27 depending on skills and experience
Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours per week
Type of work: permanent full time
Key Responsibilities:
Perform manicures and pedicures, including nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, massage, and polish application
Apply artificial nails, acrylics, gels, and nail extensions using professional techniques
Create custom nail art and designs based on client preferences
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organised workstation and tools
Provide clients with advice on nail and skin care for hands and feet
Identify and refer any nail or skin concerns that require medical attention
Recommend and promote appropriate nail care products and services
Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards
Stay current with the latest nail trends, techniques, and products
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or a relevant qualification in Beauty Therapy
Skilled in acrylic, gel application, and nail art
Strong knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Willingness to work weekends and extended hours if required
