Position Overview
As a Beauty Consultant, you will play a key role in helping customers look and feel their best. You’ll provide expert product recommendations, personalized consultations, and exceptional service while representing top beauty and skincare brands. Your focus will be on building client relationships, achieving sales goals, and keeping your area inviting and well-merchandised.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:Welcome customers warmly, discover their beauty needs, and offer tailored product advice and demonstrations to enhance their shopping experience.
Sales Performance:Drive sales through product knowledge, personalized recommendations, and highlighting new launches and promotions. Strive to meet individual and team sales goals.
Makeup & Skincare Consultations:Provide mini makeovers, skincare consultations, and tutorials to help customers select the right products for their style and needs.
Clienteling:Build and maintain a loyal clientele by following up on purchases, reaching out with new product arrivals, and offering a consistent, personalized experience.
Product Knowledge:Stay current on product trends, new launches, and brand training to share expert advice confidently with customers.
Visual Presentation:Keep your beauty area clean, organized, and visually appealing by restocking, setting up displays, and ensuring testers are tidy and hygienic.
Cashiering:Accurately handle transactions, returns, and exchanges, delivering a seamless checkout experience.
Team Collaboration:Work closely with fellow beauty consultants and store leadership to create an inviting and energetic shopping environment.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, or retail sales preferred.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for beauty and helping others.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Professionalism: Maintain a polished, professional appearance that reflects Dillard’s and the brands you represent.
