Cosmetology, beautician, waxing, threading, Facials, Body Massage, Laser Hair Removal, PRP, Centre JOB TITLE: Beauty Therapist JOB BAND: 7 AREA/DEPARTMENT: Centre Operations: Beauty GRADE: L1 REPORTS TO: Beauty Head / Assistant Beauty Head POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Nil JOB SCOPE: Under the general direction of the Centre Head, and within the limits of established policies and procedures provides wide range of beauty services to clients Key Responsibilities: To perform specialized skin, hair and B-Line treatments for clients as per standard operating procedures. To render regular beauty services such as eyebrow threading, bleaching and waxing unwanted hair as per standard operating procedures To execute specialized make-up for clients for special occasions such as engagement, marriage, stage event etc ( if multitasking as a Make-up Artist ) To provide advice on skin care and soft sell appropriate beauty packages and Bellewave/Skin Mtx/ VLCC Personal Care products for regular use. To recognize skin / hair conditions / problems and refer clients to respective experts at the centre such as Clinical Doctor/ Dematologist, Beauty Head / Assistant Beauty Head. To arrange appointments with clients in consultation with the Beauty Head & maintain the required beauty records. To organize raw ingredients (vegetables and fruits) and other products to be used in the beauty section on a daily basis. To ensure equipments and tools are disinfected and sterilized after every session. In co-ordination with the other Beauty therapists in the Centre, to be able to handle and maintain beauty equipments carefully and judiciously. To be responsible to pass on any lost and found items immediately to the Centre Head. To attend all staff and training meetings as and when directed by the Center Head. To ensure that all duties are carried out as per VLCC policies maintaining high standards of personal appearance, personal hygiene and appropriate uniform. To constantly upgrade oneself and multitask so as to achieve the progression level as per the multitasking / up gradation planner Additional Responsibilities To prepare / generate desired records from Beauty Cards / Software from time to time To perform outdoor duties from time to time as and when required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Well groomed, healthy, free from skin disease, pleasant and tactful, good hand-eye co-ordination, and good fitness levels in terms of stamina to work manually for long hours DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Training in Beauty & Hair/Diploma
