Full job description

The incumbent is responsible for patient throughput and the smooth allocation of Health Centre beds.

Qualifications:

Secondary school diploma or educational equivalent required.

Minimum 1 year recent related experience

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong decision making and problem solving abilities.

Proven ability to work independently in a high pressure environment.

Ability to complete job routine accurately and in a timely manner.

Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.

Familiarity with Bed Booking procedures and Meditech system an asset.

MS Office (Intermediate level with Word and Excel), internet and knowledge of databases and data entry required.

40 w.p.m. keyboarding.

Satisfactory attendance record.
