This role is about walking alongside our youth—supporting them in their journeys, helping them find balance, build life skills, and grow into their strengths. The Behaviour Interventionist fosters connection and belonging by encouraging young people in their personal, spiritual, emotional, and educational growth, always in a safe, respectful, and culturally grounded environment.

Key Responsibilities (Our Commitments to Community and Youth)

• One-on-One Guidance and Relationship:

Build respectful, trusting relationships grounded in culture, empathy, and consistency.

Provide caring, individualized support to help youth navigate personal challenges.

Co-create wellness plans that focus on the youth’s gifts, goals, and spirit.

Support youth through struggles such as mental health, family conflict, substance use, school engagement, and identity.

• Meaningful Engagement:

Offer a safe, trauma-informed, and culturally safe space where youth feel seen and heard.

Use land-based learning, art, storytelling, and traditional teachings to engage youth in healing and growth.

Encourage participation in gatherings, cultural ceremonies, community events, and other activities that build identity and pride.
