Menswear/Womenwear Stylist / Client Advisor – Full Time
Location: Downtown Vancouver
About the Role:
We are looking for a confident, stylish individual to advise clients on fabrics, fits, and personal style. This is a key front-facing role in helping clients curate a refined and elegant wardrobe.
Responsibilities:
Conduct style consultations and guide clients through the bespoke process
Help with fabric selection, accessories, and design details
Maintain the showroom’s luxury aesthetic
Support sales goals and customer retention
Qualifications:
Background in menswear fashion or luxury retail
Strong knowledge of tailoring, fabric, and fit principles
Excellent interpersonal and styling skills
Ability to build rapport with VIP and high-profile clientele
This position is for a luxury menswear brand in Vancouver's Gastown, Water Street, specializing in bespoke and made-to-measure suits
As a Bespoke Stylist & Consultant, you will be responsible for curating and advising clients on premium Western and Italian fabrics, assisting them in selecting styles, cuts, and details that complement their personal aesthetic and lifestyle. Your expertise in luxury tailoring, fabric selection, and made-to-measure fittings will help deliver a world-class experience.
Job Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of sales experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in high-end menswear/ womenswear and tailoring.
Expertise: In-depth knowledge of tailoring techniques, premium fabrics, and the garment production and procurement process, specifically in men's suits.
Sales Performance: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within a luxury retail environment.
Communication: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence discerning clientele.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing high-end clients and leading teams to achieve business objectives.
Passion for Fashion: A deep passion for men's fashion, with an acute eye for quality, craftsmanship, and detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Target Achievement: Drive revenue growth by consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets within the luxury menswear sector.
Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service and expert advice.
Product Expertise: Offer expert guidance on suits, fabrics, tailoring techniques, and product craftsmanship to help clients make informed purchasing decisions.
Collaboration with Design & Production Teams: Work closely with design and production teams to ensure seamless order processing, accurate measurements, and timely delivery of bespoke garments.
Sales Analysis: Monitor sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to optimize sales strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
Training & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior sales staff, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of customer service and product knowledge.
Client Fittings & Alterations: Conduct client measurements, ensure proper fittings, and suggest stylish outfits tailored to individual preferences, including necessary alterations to guarantee the perfect fit.
Fabric and Construction Knowledge: Apply expertise in garment construction, fabric selection, and fitting techniques to ensure every client receives a product of superior quality.
Adaptability: Continuously learn and adapt to new trends, technologies, and business practices to stay at the forefront of the industry.
Desirable Qualities:
Willingness to Travel: Open to traveling internationally for business meetings, factory visits, and other brand-related activities.
Luxury Brand Experience: Previous experience working with high-end men's/women's suit brands is highly desirable.
Social Media & Online Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing strategies to help build and enhance the brand’s digital presence.
