CURATING ORIGINALITY TAKES TALENT
W Sydney located at 31 Wheat Road is hiring a Beverage & Food Reservations Executive. Reporting to the Director of Beverage & Food, this integral role will manage and process all B&F reservation requests, including modifications and cancellations received via phone or email. The position will assess guests’ needs to recommend suitable venues and seating arrangements, verify availability across meal periods, and optimise venue occupancy through effective reservation planning. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Enter all reservation booking information into SEVENROOMS;
Accommodate and document special requests in an accurate and efficient manner;
Explain guarantee, group surcharge and cancellation policies to callers;
Process deposits and send confirmation via email;
Verify availability of each B&F venue, meal period and reserve seating that maximize venue occupancy;
Use sales techniques when assisting guests in making reservations, including personalising calls, obtaining complete guest needs, suggesting alternate dates, or directing guests to other B&F venues on sold-out days;
Answer guest questions about different B&F venues (e.g., hours of operation, venue concept, menu offering, restricted dates, promotions, and special events);
Coordinate all group reservations and private use events for all B&F venues;
Drafting all private use event orders for external and internal publication;
Manage the Restaurants and Bars reservation system, and continue improving the digital guest journey;
Update B&F activations and programming to create the reservation link;
Work closely with the marketing team and update menus, templates, and other B&F related collateral using software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Canva and more.
