Job Description
The Beverage Technologist will participate in the various aspects of sample management, liquid innovation and application within the Product Development Department. This role has a passion for Food Science, Food Nutrition and/or Chemistry and has the drive to learn and proactively take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.
What you'll do:
Be responsible for samples management & preparation and shipping documents to support business run.
communication with external team regarding sample status, shipping progress and other task/project assigned.
Prepare lab formula, ETQ formula and specification for new/revised products.
Work with QA to determine finished product specifications new product integrity and stability testing.
Assistant with QA and Operations for technical supports and first runs or pilot runs.
Perform sensory evaluations and organize, coordinate and conduct taste panels.
Work on shelf-life extension and alternative ingredient review
Work with PD team in terms of experiment design, research, and other tasks.
Work closely specific flavor houses and ingredient suppliers
What you have:
Completed Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Nutrition, Chemistry or related
Beverage experience is preferred
Knowledge of beverage product development, formulating, sensory and testing is preference
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Work effectively with our ingredient suppliers and our procurement team
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time
Desire to build a long-term career in product and flavor development
Team player and able to network quickly with internal and external work colleagues and stakeholders
Able to work independently and “roll up your sleeves” to make things happen.

The typical hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually complemented by a bonus plan; the base pay is determined by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
