About Bharat Banking:Bharat Banking is a new Department which has been set up to drive different business that the Bank does in Semi Urban and rural markets. The department is expected to drive business outcomes by focusing on partnerships, new products, innovation, reimagining customer journeys and driving / creating new channel.About the Role:The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for maintaining the Profit and Loss of the location and for the business expansion and growth of the lending book of the area so as to achieve the top line and profitability goals. The ASM coordinates with the Sales managers to ensure that they are able to respond proactively to the business issues and challenges by providing them with the required guidance and support.Key Responsibilities Drive the business in the geography through the sales resources and ensure attainment of targetsMap the business potential in the geography of operationManage the quality of portfolio through soft recovery in early bucket defaultsOrganize activities/events across channels to increase lead generationConduct field visits in case of High value loan proposalLiaise with internal stake holders to improve sourcing and ensure quick conversion of businessReview the weekly business performance report of RMsOrganize training sessions, guide and coach RMs to enable them to attain the desirable sales performance levels. Qualifications:Optimal qualification for success on the job is: Graduation/ Post-Graduation from a recognized institute2 years in a relevant role Role Proficiencies:For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess the following: Knowledge of industry, technology, marketing, and product trendsKnowledge of regulatory guidelines and normsGood communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local languageAbility to manage complex client situationsAbility to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environmentAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to coach and mentor others #ComeAsYouAre We are dil se open.
