Job Description
Bharat Banking is a new Department which has been set up to drive different business that the Bank does in Semi Urban and rural markets. The department is expected to drive business outcomes by focusing on partnerships, new products, innovation, reimagining customer journeys and driving / creating new channel.
About the Role:
The Product team manages the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. They are responsible for conceptualizing and implementing the strategic plan to steer top line growth and bottom line delivery. The Product team is also responsible for Product Development, Portfolio Management and Analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the development of the Rural Lending product and provide support to the team on product / Process clarifications.
• Coordinate within internal teams for product / program rollout.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Conduct market research and identify potential products and use Analytics to track product performance.
• Drive digitization of the sales process
• Analyze gold rates and pricing and design strategies to improve product yield
• Keep providing constant support and training for a healthy and hygienic portfolio
• Analyze potential Gold Loan branches for Branch Expansion
Qualifications:
Optimal qualification for success on the job is:
• Graduation / Post Graduation from a recognized institute

• Should possess basic knowledge of Rural Lending
• Good communication (both verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
• Strong Excel and database manipulation skills, financial and statistical analysis skills
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goals
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Solid Relationship Building Skills and coordination
• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
