About the Role In order to maintain various portfolio parameters, close monitoring at various levels to ensure proper tracking and monitoring progress. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Manager play a vital role in monitoring key portfolio parameters and to maintain them in good position. a. Portfolio analysis:1. Monthly, fortnightly and weekly analysis of the key portfolio parameters.2. Devise plan of action for keeping key portfolio parameter at desired levels and execute through sales team in zone.3. Evaluate daily progress on action plan on various key portfolio parameters and publish MIS to sales team for review.4. To act as facilitating RM to avoid slippages in controlling portfolio & housekeeping items in case of RM resignation / movements when customers are being handed over from one RM to another RM.5. To check sourcing quality or portfolio quality at triggered locations/RMs portfolio basis discrepancy identified from regular team interactions/surprise visits /customer complaints and devise action plan towards curing the discrepancy observed. b. Visits : 1. Carry out visits to branches/RMs to ensure portfolio control processes adopted by sales team are intact and team is well trained to handle portfolio quality benchmarks.2. Visit to customers to understand his overall experience in dealing with the bank staffs & processes, have knowledge of ground level issues / areas of improvement.c. Renewal Monitoring : Monitor and track CAM renewals due as on date and in next 6 months, discuss with sales team to ensure that renewals are carried out before expiry. In case of delays, chalks out specific follow up mechanism for faster clearance.d. Churning Monitoring : Regular monitoring is done on churning in customers account to ensure that churning norms are fulfilled by customers as part of sanction terms. Focused monitoring is done in harvest season for bringing maximum cash flows in the season and non-starter accounts.e. FPD Control : Monitor and control delinquency by ensuring timely FPD collection in discuss with sales team and have necessary action plan.f. Portfolio Utilization Monitoring :To work towards enhancing usage of limits extended to customers and devise strategy to maintain higher utilization %.g. PDD monitoring : Monitor and track pending PDDs and ensure they are closed timely. Focused monitoring is done on deferrals to ensure closure before the due date.In case of delays, chalks out specific follow up mechanism for faster clearance.h. Training to Sales Team : As part of branch visits and daily interactions with sales team, impart training to RMs, ASMs on Portfolio and housekeeping parameters. 1. To analyze Portfolio Utilization and monitor the progress.2. To monitor Churning progress in CC/OD accounts and give analysis to line team.3. To monitor renewals in portfolio and ensure timely renewals happen in all cases.4. To analyze First payment due cases and monitor the progress.5. To analyze the Portfolio quality and give timely s to team regarding the same.6. To visits Branches/customers for sample cases for freshly disbursed/existing customers.7.
