Roles & Responsibilities:
• Should work independently drilling down capabilities in stored procedures containing complex code. Querying SQL Server using advanced techniques.
• Should be able to create new SSIS packages , error handling , configuring and deploy SSIS packages.
• Should be able to create new reports and dashboards and schedule and maintain reports and report server.
• Hands on with Tableau Desktop (Dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management)
• Should be able to create and edit SQL queries within Tableau to build calculated fields.
Skills:
• Candidate should have strong knowledge and experience in SQL Server and basics on windows server.
• Should be able handle user access , monitor server performance and should have knowledge on data governance.
• Should have strong knowledge on T- SQL language (functions, stored procedures, triggers, joins , sub queries and dynamic queries).
• Should be able to modify / write new SQL scripts with new business logic.
• Should have good knowledge on SSIS (control flow, data flow, error handling , Configurations)
• Should have Good knowledge on SSRS ( creating new reports / dashboards, data source, data sets, granting access to users, subscriptions , server configuration, finding errors from log tables and fix them)
• Should have strong knowledge on Tableau (Created New Dashboards, Granting access, Subscriptions, error handling, scheduled jobs and shared schedules )
• Good to have knowledge on linked servers, MySQL, db2 configurations. Creating and modifying SQL Agent jobs.
• Good to have knowledge on Cloud2 (creating / modifying External End Points, Firewall rules, Book Patching on servers, resource modification for servers
