Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Looker) who is passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights and building scalable analytics solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Looker/LookML, SQL, and cloud data warehousing, along with the ability to design semantic layers and enable self-service analytics.

Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain scalable LookML models, semantic layers, and analytics solutions aligned with business KPIs.
Build intuitive, interactive dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting needs, and business outcomes.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
Work with data engineering teams to enhance data pipelines and warehouse performance.
Implement performance optimization techniques like caching and PDT management.
Manage Looker governance including roles, permissions, and content organization.
Maintain Git-based version control and deployment workflows.
Support and train users to drive adoption of self-service analytics.
Lead or contribute to BI migrations (e.g., Tableau to Looker) and modernize reporting.
Improve analytics consistency by standardizing metrics and reducing redundancy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in Data Analytics, BI development, or Analytics Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Looker and LookML (models, Explores, dashboards, PDTs).
Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery preferred).
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and data architecture fundamentals.
Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Experience with Tableau (LOD expressions, data blending, dashboard migration).
Hands-on experience with dbt for ELT transformations and data modeling.
Familiarity with GCP ecosystem (BigQuery, Cloud Run, GCS, IAM).
Experience in domains like logistics, operations, or marketplace analytics.
Knowledge of BI automation, Looker Actions, or workflow integrations.
