Due to expansion, we are looking for a Bid writer to join our team. This is a brand-new role with a real opportunity to bring your creative writing skills to develop high quality, engaging, winning bid submissions that meet the needs of our clients and make a difference to the lives of those who use our services.
You'll support in winning opportunities that expand our market share for core and scaling services and explore new market entries. You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team, taking the lead on producing high-quality, compelling, compliant, and persuasive bid documents that effectively communicate our value proposition and meet client requirements.
Xyla, part of Acacium Group, is an integrated healthcare solution that improves people’s lives and alleviates the demands of the UK healthcare system. Our services help people avoid hospital or accelerate them safely through it, with specialist support in their community or homes whenever needed. Working with over 80 NHS trusts, our clinical care team delivers a range of clinical services in hospitals, the community or virtually. Our services include diagnostic, acute and virtual services – all of which are designed and delivered by senior NHS consultants and operational staff who ensure that national clinical guidelines and operational best practice guidance are met.
Every day you will…
Create content in line with bid processes and responses holding storyboarding sessions and obtain relevant information from SMEs to develop winning content
Objectively review written content to develop and enhance continuously
Produce drafts for review and provide editorial oversight of written content to support bid submissions and to increase bid win rates
Work towards improving and enhancing the standard and effectiveness of written responses
Perform editorial reviews of written bid responses – proof-read and edit bid responses as needed to improve clarity, accuracy and readability

To thrive in this role, you will ideally have…
Experience in Healthcare Bid/Tender writing and able to write compelling narratives.
Experience writing within the Healthcare industry with confidence in articulating complex operational and clinical skills requirements with support of internal SME's.
Insourcing bid writing experience
A degree or formal qualification in an arts subject or creative writing
Good time management with and ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
