Bid Writer x 2 (Hybrid Working) | £45,000 - £55,000 | London | Construction - Social Housing | Permanent
Your eyes do not deceive you. This is a Bid Writer role working for a construction company, offering GENUINE HYBRID WORKING.
With the vast majority of contractors still insisting on 5 days in the office (or the token home-working day here and there), this business has broken free from the shackles and offers their people a proper split week with 40% in the office and 60% working from home (or put simply - 2 days in the office, 3 days at home).
Working pattern aside, the Bid Writers will find themselves working as part of a dedicated bid team of around + or 10 within a leading supplier of planned maintenance, property improvement and strategic repairs across London.
The Bid Writers will be primarily responsible for supporting the development of new business and opportunities, working closely with a number of teams to plan, write and develop bids from PQQ to final submission, effectively driving “on brand” propositions and solutions through compelling documentation and presentations.
Their offices are extremely well-positioned, being served by numerous underground lines including Central, Elizabeth and Jubilee in addition to overground and DLR.
What we are looking for:
• Confident communicator (written and verbal)
• At least a couple of years’ experience in a bid role, ideally within the construction sector
• Excellent bid writing experience
