Are you a knowledgeable Bid Writer looking for a new challenge within a Professional Services environment?

Do you want to hone your skills and enhance your knowledge, working alongside a supportive team of experienced Bid professionals?

Pick Everard are looking for a motivated Bid Writer to join a small, friendly team at our Leicester Head Office. Working in the Bid Hub, you will play a key role in this central team, who are responsible for tender management across all our divisions and offices. We currently have over 650 staff and 15 UK offices, so this is a fast-paced, and varied role with plenty of room for progression and development opportunities.

As a Bid Writer, you will carry out all aspects of the bidding process, and be a crucial part of our successful bidding team. You will set up bid response documents, create and edit bid responses for PQQ and SQ documents, and submit proposals through portals or emails, in line with client requirements. Part of your role will require you to review material from previous proposals with recommendations for appropriate usage including the use of storyboarding.

Our ideal Bid Writer must have:
• Excellent bid writing skills with the ability to write in a concise and convincing manner
• Skills in reviewing and editing written content
• Great time management skills and the ability to work towards firm deadlines
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

It would be nice for you to have:
• Experience within construction, property and/or professional services
• Degree-level education - English, History, Engineering or other relevant degree
• Personable attitude and willingness to engage with people from all levels of the business
