Your impact
You’ll be the engine behind compelling, compliant bids, transforming technical inputs into clear, persuasive narratives that differentiate Guidera O’Connor. Working across multi-disciplinary teams, you’ll coordinate bid activities and produce the documentation that showcases our capability, experience, and value to clients.
What you’ll do
Write persuasive, technically accurate bid content for EOIs, RFTs, and RFQs, aligning to win themes and client drivers.
Develop high-quality team CVs and project case studies tailored to each opportunity.
Coordinate bid workflows, including schedules, compliance matrices, document control, reviews, and submission logistics.
Facilitate inputs from subject matter experts, interview technical leads to extract key proof points and evidence.
brand voice, structure, and visual standards; collaborate with design on graphics and layouts.
Support bid strategy—storyboarding, value propositions, and executive summaries.
Maintain and continuously improve bid content libraries, CV databases, and case study repositories.
What you’ll bring
Minimum 5+ years in bid writing, proposal coordination, or similar roles.
Preferred background in engineering design and/or construction (water sector highly advantageous).
Exceptional technical writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for clarity, logic, and compliance.
Proven coordination capability in planning, deadlines, version control, and multi-stakeholder engagement.
Strong grasp of tender processes, governance, and evaluation criteria in the Australian market.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word styles, tracked changes, templates) and collaboration tools.
Desirable
Shipley or equivalent bid/proposal certification
Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
Experience crafting win themes, benefits/ROI, and risk/opportunity narratives.
Visual communication literacy (working with infographics, org charts, timelines).
Content library management and continuous improvement mindset.
