Overview
Susquehanna International Group is seeking a talented Senior Big Data Engineer with development and database administration experience to join our Data Technologies Team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining large and complex on-premise database systems using Hadoop, Oracle, and other technologies.
In this role, you will:
• Design, develop, and support database applications for our data systems
• Design, develop, and support Linux shell scripts and Python for batch processing
• Design solutions using Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Druid, Spark technologies
• Maintain and support our Oracle database instance and applications in a high-transaction environment
• Perform routine and customary operational activities to ensure a stable database environment
• Provide production support off hours/weekend, when needed

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience with database development and database administration (Oracle preferred)
