Business FunctionGroup Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.Roles & ResponsibilitiesMin 11+ years of experience with Hadoop/Spark.Experience in Hadoop, Spark, Hive, ElasticSearch and other open source software on big data processingDeep understanding of data modelling in data warehouse and Hadoop based data storesExperience with Spring Boot, Spring, hibernate is a added advantageExpertise in Core Java, Collections, Lambda Function and Stream APIGood Knowledge and experience in Oracle or SQL Server, Maria DBProvider- AND consumer-side programming using Java Web Services/ Restful Services with SOAP/ XML is added advantageGood understanding of CI/ CD stack including build/deployment tools like SCM (GIT, Bitbucket), Maven, ANTMust be organized, able to work with minimal supervision, flexible to work on different projects in a rapidly changing environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels with demonstrated ability to influence different stakeholdersCertifications in relevant skills (e.g. big data etc.) will be an advantageExperience in supporting Group Finance function is a plusRequirementsThe candidate should have 14 year’s working experience in IT projects.The candidate should have at least 4 year’s working experience in Banking data warehouse development or Financial regulatory or Financial MIS reporting area.The candidate should have at least 4 year’s hands-on experience in spark core or spark SQL ( Alternatively, if the candidate had more than 5 year’s hands-on experience in Oracle 11g/12C, and not less than 2 year hands-on experience in spark core or spark SQL or python spark or python pandas
