Opportunity for a BigData Candidate with Database Background for Gurgaon or Indore.
As a Technical Architect - Database, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of databases. You will be creating and implementing standardised database management process and oversee the performance, security and maintenance of the the database systems. You should also possess extensive knowledge of database architecture. You are also expected to possess database management expertise which translates into optimal database performance.
You are expected to be more than good at following skills:
- Proficient on PostgreSQL, Big Data and NO SQL Server databases
- Enhancing the scalability and performance of existing database architecture
- Developing database structures and features according to organisational needs
- Guiding, supervising, and mentoring database development teams
- Ensuing optimal data handling processes for data at rest as well as data in transactions
Creating Database architectures, data models and technical designs for projects
- Conducting diagnostic tests and evaluating performance metrics
- Developing procedures to ensure data integrity and quality
- Preparing and presenting system performance reports to senior managers
- Performing database maintenance, migration, and upgrading hardware and software
- Documenting processes and complying with best practices in database management
- Keeping up to date with developments and trends in database management
Personal Attributes
- Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal)
- Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style

Must have’s
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information System (MIS), Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology
- At least 5 years of experience in Database Architecture, Data Modelling and Performance Tuning
