We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
In this role you will:
• Design, build and deploy internal applications to support our technology life cycle, collaboration and spaces, service delivery management, data and business intelligence among others.
• Work closely with analysts and business process owners to translate business team’s data requirements (batch and real-time) into technical solutions.
• Maintain highest levels of development practices including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular and self-sustaining code, with repeatable quality and predictability.
• Build and maintain GCP data driven solutions for enterprise data warehouse and data lakes
• Evaluate business challenges and work with the team to ensure at the best technology solutions
• Support existing GCP Data Management implementations
• Automate manual processes to enhance delivery.
• Create reliable pipelines after combining data sources.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Retail banking environment, with good understanding of customer lifecycle across core products
• Strong and hands-on Industry experience, solid exposure in working with product based teams providing global services
• Strong proven skills in Big Data Ecosystem including Hadoop and Cloud technologies
• Proven experience in data lifecycle and migration (acquisition, ingestion and transfer) to Cloud technologies like GCP
• GCP Implementation using BigQuery and GCS.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL, Analytics (Python) and MI Reporting, Kafka & Nifi dataflow frameworks
• Good knowledge of Operations and Frontline activities (Unix scripting & troubleshooting) .
