The Bike Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing bicycles. The role requires a thorough knowledge of all types of bicycles, including those for mountain biking, racing and leisure. The Bike Mechanic must have excellent mechanical skills, be able to identify and diagnose faults, and be able to make necessary repairs.
The Bike Mechanic must be able to work quickly and efficiently and have an eye for detail. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be expected to keep up to date with new developments in the industry, and must be physically fit to lift and manoeuvre bicycles.
