A banking/finance company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Relationship Manager/VP with experience in Corporate Banking to join their team in New York, NY. This position is responsible for building business connections with people in the energy and natural resources sectors based in New York and surrounding area and gather information relating to energy or natural resources projects. A* bachelor's degree in finance, Business or Accounting, 3 years of working experience in corporate banking, project finance or energy or natural resources sectors, and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required*. This is a full-time position, hybrid position with excellent benefits including 401k.

Bilingual Japanese/English Relationship Manager/VP Duties:

-Build business connection with people in energy and natural resources sectors

-Gather information relating to energy or natural resources projects with which Japanese or other Asian companies are involved

-Gather information on recent trends and activities of energy and natural resources sectors

-Analyze business operations and strategies to identify new opportunities to maximize business

-Support in preparation of client materials (presentations, proposals, etc.) and presentation-(If assigned existing clients as RM) Maintain client relationship, cultivate clients’ banking needs and promote banking products

-Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand the client's needs, preferences and trends in the industry

-Collaborate across departments such as sales, marketing and product development to ensure that the client's needs are being met

-Promote high-quality sales, supply and customer service processes

-Provide ad hoc reports for management

Bilingual Japanese/English Relationship Manager/VP Skills:

-Must speak, read, and write Japanese

-Must have 3+ years of work experience in corporate banking

-Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting

-PC skills in Word, Excel

-Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skills

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
