Job Description
An Accounts Executive is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of an organization's accounting processes. They work closely with finance teams, clients, and vendors to oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
Bank Reconciliations: Ensure all bank statements align with company records.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
Tax & Compliance: Assist in tax preparation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support financial planning and forecasting activities.
Client & Vendor Communication: Coordinate with clients and vendors regarding payments, invoices, and financial concerns.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes.
Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.Tally, Excel).
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Regulations: Understanding of financial policies, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
