About the Role
Our long-standing relationships and deep knowledge of the insurance industry have seen us recognised as the premier Insurance Law & Litigation practice in Australia.
This role will support the Client Services Manager & Specialists to manage client service invoicing and general administration for the practice group. You will be responsible for all aspects of client bill preparation including coordination of client rates, payors and guidelines.
Responsibilities
Managing volume end to end client invoice processing including edits, write offs, reversals and dispute resolution in line with strict client service standards and billing rules
Processing a high volume of invoices monthly
Ensuring proper setup and maintenance of matters
Processing delayed split invoices and tracking of deductibles matters
Submission of invoices through clients e-billing portals
Providing general support to the Client Services team to ensure timely processing of a high volume of invoices
Assisting as required with the new matter opening process ensuring all critical data and client specific rules and billing groups are captured and consistent
Updating internal systems with client updates, including names, addresses, contacts
Ensuring timely resolution of invoicing issues (including reversals) and assisting (as required) with pro-active debtor management
About You
Certificate in Legal Studies desired but not essential
High level knowledge of Excel
A working knowledge of MS Word and Adobe
Knowledge of the document management system iManage
Experience with billing systems (ideally Aderant Expert)
Administrative support and billing experience gained in a law firm
Insurance law exposure desired
Experience communicating with clients
