What you bring to SBHG:
Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) year unit clerk/secretary or clerical experience in a medical setting.
Valid California Driver’s License, required.
First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy
How you will make a difference:
The Receptionist/Billing Clerk is responsible for insuring that the discharged chart is closed in the correct order, and completed. Greets and assists visitors and manages phone calls. Manages all charts with deficiencies by processing them to the appropriate department for correction. Files complete charts into permanent location. Pulls charts upon request. Copy charts and mail out for Releases of Information. Handles special projects at the request of Supervisor.
Division/Program Overview:
The TAY Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) facility is a short-term voluntary residential facility.
Designed to help Transitional Age Youth (TAY), ages 18-25, who experience a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to community.
Services include:
24/7 Program
Therapeutic and mental health services
Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
Medication evaluation and support services
Daily exercise and health/wellness education
Crisis intervention

In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 20.20 - 30.30. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
