The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing for our clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all stages of the billing process. This role is critical to our firm's financial health and requires a professional with a strong understanding of legal billing procedures and best practices.
Responsibilities
• Manage the entire billing process from pre-billing to generating invoices for our clients.
• Utilize 3E Elite software for efficient and accurate billing procedures.
• Collaborate with attorneys to ensure all billable hours are accurately recorded and invoices are generated promptly.
• Address client inquiries regarding invoices, explaining details and making adjustments as necessary.
• Perform account reconciliation tasks, ensuring all billing activities are accurately reflected in the system.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all billing activities.
• Collaborate with other finance team members to ensure smooth financial operations within the firm.
• Comply with all legal and company regulations regarding billing.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the legal industry.
• Proficiency in 3E Elite or similar legal billing software.
• Demonstrated experience in pre-billing and generating invoices.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex billing information in a clear and understandable manner.
• A high level of professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A proactive attitude, with the ability to identify and resolve issues before they become problems.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
