Job Title: Billing Executive
Location: thane
Department: Billing / Accounts
Experience: Minimum 6 months in hospital billing
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Billing Executive with at least 6 months of experience in hospital billing operations. The candidate will be responsible for generating bills, managing patient accounts, coordinating with insurance providers, and ensuring smooth financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate inpatient and outpatient bills accurately using hospital billing software
Verify and enter patient details, services, and procedures in the system
Coordinate with the medical and nursing staff for any billing clarifications
Process cash, card, UPI, and insurance payments from patients
Handle pre-authorizations, insurance claims, and follow-up on pending approvals
Maintain and reconcile daily collection reports and accounts
Address billing-related queries from patients and relatives politely
Assist with discharge billing and clearance process
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial records
Required Skills:
Minimum 6 months of experience in hospital billing
Proficiency in hospital billing software (e.g., MedNet, Insta, Medisoft, or similar)
Familiarity with TPA and insurance procedures
Basic understanding of medical terms and hospital services
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle billing under pressure with accuracy
Basic Excel and data entry skills
