Southeast Houston client is looking for a direct hire billing professional to manage end-to-end ambulance/EMS billing processes, including accurate coding, claim submission, and reimbursement in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines.
Ambulance Billing Software to process claims, resolve denials, and manage aged accounts receivable independently.
• Apply ICD-10, HCPCS ambulance coding (base rates, mileage, modifiers), and medical necessity requirements to ensure accurate and compliant billing.
• Prepare and submit detailed claim appeals, analyze denial trends, and implement solutions to improve reimbursement outcomes.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and CMS regulations while supporting overall revenue cycle efficiency.
