Qualifications
Experience: At least 7 years of progressive development experience specifically in Guidewire BillingCenter, including implementations, upgrades, and conversions
Technical Skills: Proficiency in GOSU language, PCFs, Rules management, plug-in development, SOAP/REST APIs, and integration with third-party software
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong debugging skills and the ability to resolve defects and system issues independently
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Additional Expertise: Experience with public cloud environments (AWS), web services, Maven, and continuous integration tools

Lead Development Initiatives: Be actively involved in all parts of the SDLC, including gathering requirements, writing code, testing, and deploying robust software solutions
Expert in Guidewire BillingCenter: Utilize your 7+ years of experience to customize, configure, and enhance our Guidewire BillingCenter application, ensuring seamless integration with external systems
Problem-Solving Master: Resolve complex production issues, lead troubleshooting efforts, and optimize system performance
Mentor & Collaborate: Work closely with quality assurance, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure high-performing, resilient systems, while mentoring junior developers to achieve excellence
Innovative Solutioning: Engage in planning and strategy sessions, bringing your technical acumen and fresh ideas to the table

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• Insurance Industry Experience: Knowledge or experience in Property and Casualty Insurance is a plus.
• Guidewire Suite Knowledge: Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter is advantageous.
• Agile Environment: Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Enterprise Software Concepts: Familiarity with J2EE technologies, design patterns, and service-oriented architectures.
