BIM Engineer – Revit (MEP)- 5+ Years’ Experience- Location-Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings and Revit models for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems up to LOD 500.

• Identify, rectify, and manage clash detection using tools like Navisworks and BIM Collaborate.

• Lead the creation of coordinated and value-engineered drawings and detail-oriented extracts for execution.

• Develop and enforce BIM standards across all project phases and model deliverables.

• Coordinate and manage project models, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to organizational protocols.

• Conduct BIM coordination meetings and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve design challenges.

• Manage resources including BIM software, hardware, and modeling teams efficiently.

• Train and mentor junior staff and peers in BIM/Revit practices and tools.

• Create Revit families as required and ensure seamless MEP coordination.

• Perform sizing calculations for ducts, chilled water/condenser water piping, sprinkler systems, water supply/drainage piping, and cable containment.

• Continuously monitor BIM processes and generate project reports for senior stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

• Essential: Diploma/BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Preferred: BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience:

• Essential: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in MEP projects using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM Collaborate, BIM 360, ACC, MS Word & Excel

• Preferred: 8+ years in similar roles with expertise in BIM software and MEP coordination.
