JOB REQUISITES
Role Summary
To work as part of our Services Team to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate’s role will be as an MEP Revit Technician within the WSP India in our Bangalore office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to CAD/BIM Manager in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.
Responsibilities
• Prepare MEP 3D Revit coordinated models
• Clash detection and clash resolution
• Create Parametric Revit Families
• Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models
• Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualisations
• Support design teams and bid teams with creation of 4D models / visualisations
• Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model.
Key Competencies / Skills:
Mandatory skills
Experience in the use of the following software is essential:
• REVIT MEP
• AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
• Navisworks
Desired skills
• Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role.
Qualifications
Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering is preferred in addition to Draughting qualifications.
