Bhaktivedanta Gurukula & International School is seeking a passionate and experienced biology teacher to join our team on an urgent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and effective biology lessons to our students, while also contributing to the development and implementation of our science curriculum.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with our school's biology curriculum and educational standards.
• Conduct engaging and interactive classroom activities and discussions to promote student learning and retention of course material.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and tools, including multimedia resources, to enhance student engagement and understanding of biology concepts.
• Evaluate student progress through assessments, projects, and other assignments, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective school curriculum.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in biology education.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in biology or a related field.
• Teaching certification or licensure in biology education.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in biology or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of biology concepts and the ability to effectively convey these concepts to students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
