What You’ll Do:
Provide personalized one-on-one biology instruction to our students, spanning from foundational concepts to more advanced topics and projects.
Evaluate the distinct learning requirements of each student and design tailored lesson plans that promote a comprehensive grasp of scientific principles and methodologies.
Conduct engaging and interactive biology tutoring sessions, incorporating digital resources to enhance the learning experience.
Monitor students' meteoric progress and provide feedback to enhance their science skills.
Collaborate harmoniously with staff and other teachers to support students' success.
Stay current with the most up-to-date biology curriculum standards and innovative teaching techniques to provide cutting-edge educational guidance.
Let’s Talk About You:
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Environmental Science, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Ontario high school biology curriculum and teaching methods.
Proficiency in senior-level biology would be a significant asset.
Proven ability to develop comprehensive lesson materials.
Commanding knowledge and expertise in various levels of the subject matter.
Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, epitomizing the art of conveying complex ideas with exceptional clarity.
Ability to forge a profound connection with students, fostering an environment of unparalleled support and inspiration.
Patience, empathy, and the extraordinary capability to adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of exceptional individuals.
Masterful organizational and time management abilities.
Flexibility to accommodate students' schedules, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00-$70.00 per hour
