Job Requirement

Understanding and promoting company commercial programs.
Work with interfacing functions to ensure timely and accurate processing and delivery of orders (Feasibility, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Formulations, Accounting, Pricing, Production team members, and Customer Service)
Run reports, analyze data, develop presentations, support and/or lead customer conference calls, and
in continuous improvement initiatives.
Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
Preparing and sales contracts for orders.
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
Maintaining client records.
Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
Qualifications and Skills

Masters Degree in Science (preferably in Biotechnology or chemistry)
Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
A commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in R, Python, Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a customer facing environment and working technical knowledge of the biotechnology industry including the basics of project management methodologies.
Successful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas: written and verbal communications, interpersonal cross functional team based interaction, organizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, and problem solving.
Should also be intellectually curious and results oriented.
Working Conditions:

Works in an office environment.
May, on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means.
Some walking and lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.
Frequent travel may be required.
