HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
In this role, you will:
• You will manage all aspects of the Bitbucket Data Center environment to ensure high availability, security, scalability, and seamless integration across tools and services.
• You will develop automation scripts using Python and Linux shell scripting in order to support incident resolution, configuration management, upgrades, and provisioning.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Security, Legal, and IT) to implement access controls, integrations, and compliance requirements.
• You will drive improvements in infrastructure and user experience by validating configuration hanges, enhancing monitoring, and reducing manual efforts through automation.
• You will serve as the primary support contact for developers and engineering teams to troubleshoot Bitbucket issues, including CI/CD integrations and REST API customizations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
4+ years of software development experience
Skills:
• Experience administering and supporting Bitbucket Data Center or other enterprise Git-based source code hosting platforms.
• Strong experience with Linux systems administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Hands-on expertise with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet .
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines , source code integrations, REST APIs, and managing role-based access.
• Familiarity with infrastructure components such as VMs, databases, backups, networking, and SSO .
• Ability to coordinate with IT and Engineering teams to deploy and validate environment changes.
• Experience working in a DevTools/SRE/Platform Engineering capacity in an enterprise setting.
