Job Description for BIW Process.
Designation: Process Engineer
Employment: Full Time
Candidates Preferred From: Pune/Bangalore
Brief Description: The Candidate will be working in the BIW Team as a Process Engineer, Taking responsibilities of the project independently and working hands on along with the customers & team to ensure the successful completion of the Projects. Should have worked for, Process and System Layouts.
Education:
ME / MTech / BE Mech / NTTF / GTTC / PDTD / Diploma-Mech
Experience:
10 to 20 Years of practical experience in BIW Weld Shop assembly line Processing and Working on Layout planning for the BIW assembly lines.
Manufacturing / Shop floor experience preferred.
Software knowledge:
Thorough Knowledge in UG NX / CATIA / AutoCAD / FIDES
Candidates with Knowledge on Throughput Simulation & Process Validations preferred.
Candidates with Teamcenter (TcAE) exposure preferred
Working Knowledge on Microsoft Access / Excel Work books
Desired Knowledge:
Exposure on Process Documents as per different OEM requirements preferred.
BIW Product / Process Structure development. Must be able to suggest process changes.

Controls Layout Sheet
® ERGO Documentation
® STDS/MODE (Operator Timing)
® Man Machine Output
® RWD (AutoCAD)
® SDP (Sequence Development)
® MDM
® MPM
Weld Gun Selection, Weld points study and distribution check.
Preparation of Process Documentation.
Onsite / Practical manufacturing experience is preferred.
General Requirements:
Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills
Self-motivated and hands on approach
Follow written/verbal instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Must have working command of the English language, and be able to communicate effectively.
Must be Quality Conscious and produce process documentation 100% defect free
