Thermal Spray Operator Duties:
Always utilize proper PPE and safety equipment.
Ability to follow and understand written instructions.
Documenting travelers and log sheets for operations performed.
Maintain required production Time standards.
Ability to safely use and handle: tools, process gasses, and Thermal Spray equipment.
Operation of robotic equipment.
Mask components to customer requirements.
Gritblast components to customer requirements.
Ability to operate and apply coatings using thermal spray equipment: Oxy-Fuel Flame, Arc Wire, Plasma and HVOF to customer requirements.
Ability to repair, troubleshoot & rebuild: Oxy-Fuel Flame, Arc Wire, Plasma and HVOF equipment.
Prepares and submits test coupons to the lab for approval.
Ability to understand and use precision measuring tools.
Effectively and efficiently produce parts according to certification and quality guidelines.
Cross-train other employees
Maintain department housekeeping using 5-S principals.
Regular attendance and punctuality required.
Ensure compliance with Company Quality requirements.
Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
Communicate professionally and effectively with peers, leadership, and customers
Other duties as assigned.

• Must possess the ability to interpret process sheets & blueprint drawings
• Experience in a self-directed teaming environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment working with Thermal Spray equipment.

• Must be fluent in English, speaking, reading, writing
List the level of education and/or experience needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must pass various tests including annual exams.
• Meet performance standards within the first six months
• Intermediate computer skills
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
