• Perform routine and specialized tests related to blood grouping, cross-matching, and antibody screening.
• Ensure safe collection, processing, testing, storage, and issuance of blood and blood components.
• Maintain proper documentation and records as per NABH/NABL guidelines.
• Perform quality control of reagents, equipment, and blood products.
• Assist in apheresis procedures and component preparation.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain aseptic techniques.
• Ensure compliance with transfusion safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
• Support clinicians with transfusion-related queries and emergency requirements.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with blood donors and collection drives if required.
