The successful candidate will be responsible for performing blood bank tests, collecting and processing blood samples, and ensuring the accuracy of results.
The Blood Bank Technician will be responsible for:
• Performing blood bank tests, including typing and cross-matching, antibody screening, and compatibility testing
• Collecting and processing blood samples
• Ensuring the accuracy of results
• Maintaining accurate records of all tests performed
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Assisting with the training of new staff
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
• At least two years of experience in a laboratory setting
