About The Role:
Are you an accurate administrator, confident communicating with customers and keen to learn fast in a marina environment? Conwy Marina is looking for a boatcare Service Coordinator to join our friendly team. This is a busy office-based role that suits someone who is an accurate administrator, enjoys customer contact and works well both independently and as part of a small, supportive and friendly team.
As a ‘Boatcare’ Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative function of the ‘Boatcare’ repairs team. This includes supporting the Boatcare Manager with customer enquiries and quotations for vessel refit, repair and maintenance and accurate and timely management of the service ledger including the credit control function.

You will play an active part in that from day one, working as part of a team delivering exemplary standards of boat servicing.

What the role involves
This is a busy and varied role. Typical duties include:
To facilitate good team morale with a positive attitude, ‘can do’ and flexible approach.
To ensure customers receive a warm welcome in the boatcare reception, linked to excellent customer care and service.
The timely and accurate billing and accounting of all ‘Boatcare’ activities.
Liaising with the Boatcare Manager and coordinating with the berthing team (who manage the diary for boat lifting and storage ashore) to efficiently manage bookings for boatcare works.
Liaison with team members as required over bookings and communications between operational staff and boat owners.
Providing the reporting function to the head office Finance team department and fulfilling roles including month-end reporting and other associated service ledger procedures as required.
Supporting the ‘Boatcare’ Manager with customer communications, job quotations and other related tasks as required.
To actively manage the Service Ledger aged debt and to follow company procedure on credit control.
The security of our stock control including accountability and allocation of parts to specific jobs.
To assist with updating social media and website content in connection with the business.
To support other departments, in particular ‘Boatpoint’ (Boat Sales) and our marine engineering team.
You may be asked to assist in the Boatyard and to undertake any other tasks as directed for the benefit of the business.
